The first event in the Gilpin 2020 calendar for the year will be a launch of the festival in St Mary’s Church Ross on Thursday 12th March at 7.30.

This will double as a book launch and the book will be a reprint of Gilpin’s guide by London publisher Pallas Athene. The introduction to the book has been written by Richard Humphreys (Tate Britain) who will be talking on the night about Gilpin and the Picturesque and on-hand to sign copies of the book.

The event is free but you’ll need a free ticket.

The evening is generously sponsored by Ross based Harrison Clark Rickerbys Solicitors
